ALFACEL-T (Cellulose Powder)  

The Company in the trade name of ALFACEL-T manufactures cellulose powder. It is chemically purified Alfa Cellulose converted to free flowing powder, while still retaining the fibrous cellulose structure. It is inert, nonabrasive, absorbent, soft and having other characteristics, which make it useful filler for various applications, available in various grades, matching international standards.

 In Welding electrode industry as an active component of the coating composition it is used in considerable quantities. Excellent burning of electrodes is ensured due to high cellulose content.  As it is inert it leaves no residue, no organic material present init. Thus it prevents oxidation. Hence resulting welding free from pinholes, cracks etc.

ALFACEL-T has a regulating effect as the flow of the slag.

ALFACEL-T is special grade of CP, which have properties of increasing the heat of combustion and mitigates the pungent odor formed during temperature carbonization. The amount to be used in Welding Rod Industry    depends on the Quality of welding electrodes and other ingredients in the fluxes.

In Plastics Industry ALFACEL-T is used as reinforcing filler.

In Rubber Industry ALFACEL-T is used as an additive for producing surface effects particularly in   the production materials for shoe sole. Cellulose Powder Alfacel T (EN) is manufactured from special quality wood pulp and processed Very carefully to remove amorphous part of cellulose and crystalline part is retained to use in Enzyme Production.

 

Alfacel T (EN) is used in following industries with different applications.

The Textile Industry for fabric finishing & fabric softening.

The Wire Industry for clarifications of wire

The Detergent Industry for color brightening, softening and soil removal.

The protein industry for extraction of protein and in some more industries.

Filter Aid: ALFACEL-T (SP) designed for filtration.

It is an excellent filler aid because it provides good cake stability, cleans quickly, can be burned to reduce disposal costs, pre coats quickly and prevents bleed through.

Beverage Filtrations: Prevents filter aid bleed-through in fruit juice, beer, coffee, wine yeast, must and cider

Emulsion Filter: Absorbs oil and breaks emulsions to prevent contamination of screens.

Condensate and Boiler feed Filtration: used to remove insoluble metallic impurities and oil.

Rear Earth and Metallic ore Filtration: Filter cake can be burned to recover. Product without causing any problems.

Brine filtration in Chloro - Alkaly industries: Used to remove solid impurities.

Plating Filtration: Removes solids without threat contaminating filtrate with soluble silica.

Separation of Catalyst: Some of the processes use catalyst to optimize reaction performance.

Metal plating Industry used in solutions containing acids and Filtration of Alkaline liquids.

Water Filtration: Used in Swimming pools, Industrial Waters and Municipal Waste Waters.

 

 

 

Brine Filtration: Alpha Cellulose as an effective filter media has been well established and accepted for brine filtration with advent of membrane cell Technology. This filter aid cellulose has versatile advantages, is technically Economical and is eco friendly too, since it is biodegradable. Polishing of brine is necessary   to remove the solid   impurities even less than 0.3 micron with the help of the filter aid coating on filters.

ALFACEL-T (SP) fibre is absolutely non-toxic.

It is completely biodegradable.

Fibre is significantly lighter in weight than traditional Diatomaceous earth Material

It is non-abrasive as a soft pure cellulose product, fiber is easy as the filtration and equipment, Especially backwards values, pump seals, and impellers, heaters and the piping system.

Alfacel being a fibrous material, it improves filtration.

Water chemicals also saved is if used less water required for back washing.

Save time and labor when filtering with Cellulose Powder (ALFACEL-T) fiber as a powdered    cellulose material has a natural affinity for body and tanning as found in the water of every pool.

ALFACEL-T mixes easily and very economical and also inert against water Solvent and Alkalies.

Building chemicals: The area where Alfacel recommended in building chemicals is cement, tile adhesives, and dispersion. Tile adhesives mineral finishing plasters, cement bonded jointing composition for floor tiles, mineral insulating plasters, dispersion Bonded finishing plasters.
